Rhea is an architect, a landscape architect and a an ecological artist with a love for forests, food, foraging and gardening. She believes in design of practice rather than form - which implies considering the sources of materials and where they're mined / grown, the impact their use has on their environment, the construction process, as well as the deterioration and maintenance of the work. She has worked on multiple scales and through various mediums of design in the past as a film curator, art editor, animation artist, design researcher and instructor. She is interested in developing uniquely place based design, critical thought and technology emergent from indigenous and rural traditional ecological and biological knowledge. She enjoys all tactile explorations and journeys of curiosity. Rhea most prefers conversing through drawing, film and food.
